Plagiarism Policy

The V3 Journal of Management maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism in all forms. We are committed to publishing only original content and upholding the highest standards of academic integrity.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copying text, ideas, figures, or data from other sources without proper citation.

  • Paraphrasing substantial portions of another work without attribution.

  • Reusing one's own previously published work (self-plagiarism) without appropriate disclosure or permission.

  • Submitting work that is not original or that has been previously published elsewhere.

Detection of Plagiarism

All manuscripts submitted to the V3 Journal of Management are screened for plagiarism using reputable plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar software before they enter the peer review process.

  • Similarity Index Threshold:
A similarity index above 15% (excluding references, quotes, and common phrases) may lead to immediate rejection or a request for revision.

  • Serious Cases (e.g., >25% unreferenced content) will result in outright rejection and possible blacklisting of the authors.

Handling Plagiarism Cases

If plagiarism is detected at any stage (before or after publication), the following actions may be taken:

Before Publication:

  • Immediate rejection of the manuscript.

  • Notification to the corresponding author and their institution (in severe or repeated cases).

After Publication:

  • Retraction of the article with a formal retraction notice.

  • Permanent removal from online access.

  • Notification to indexing services and the authors’ institution.

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and for citing all sources appropriately. By submitting a manuscript, authors affirm that:

  • The content is original.

  • All sources have been properly cited.

  • There is no duplication or overlap with previously published work.

Editorial Commitment

The editorial board of the V3 Journal of Management is committed to maintaining ethical standards and will take immediate action against any form of plagiarism to protect the integrity of scholarly publishing.
